Saat ini terdapat sekitar 200 juta sepeda motor yang digunakan penduduk dunia.

JAKARTA-Saat ini terdapat sekitar 200 juta sepeda motor yang digunakan penduduk dunia. Dengan kata lain, setiap 1.000 orang menggunakan 33 sepeda motor.Ada berbagai jenis sepeda motor, mulai yang berjenis skuter matic hingga jenis sport, mulai yang harganya di bawah Rp 5 juta hingga ratusan juta rupiah, mulai yang remnya pakai pohon sampai yang remnya cakram depan-belakang. Mulai yang larinya 60 km per jam sampai yang 397 km per jam.Berikut ini kami sajikan 10 sepeda motor tercepat di dunia.

1. Dodge Tomahawk
Sepeda motor bertempat duduk tunggal ini tidak tampak seperti sepeda motor kebanyakan yang beroda dua. Roda pada Dodge Tomahawk ada empat buah. Itu untuk menunjang stabilitasnya pada kecepatan tinggi.Dua roda depannya bergerak independen, bukan seperti kebanyakan sepeda motor yang menggunakan roda belakang sebagai penggerak. Indenpendensi roda depan berguna untuk mengendalikan arah sepeda motor. Dodge Tomahawk hanya diproduksi 10 unit di dunia. Setiap unitnya terjual dengan harga US$ 555.000. Menurut spesifikasi teknis pabriknya, jarak 0-60 km per  jam bisa digas hanya dalam tempo 1,75 detik. Mesin: 10-cylinder 90-degree V-type
Kecepatan maksimum: 350 mph (560 km per jam)
Tenaga: 500 tenaga kuda (370 kW) pada 5600 rpm (45 kW/L)

2. Suzuki Hayabusa
Cukup lama Suzuki Hayabusa menduduki peringkat pertama sebagai sepeda motor tercepat di dunia, lalu digulingkan Dodge Tomahawk. Meski hanya menempati peringkat kedua, Hayabusa lebih realistis, dalam arti bisa dibeli dan dikendarai di jalan raya. Hayabusa berarti sejenis burung elang yang hidup di Jepang.
Nama Hayabusa digunakan untuk “menghormati” sang elang yang mampu terbang dengan kecepatan lebih dari 200 km per jam. Hayabusah diyakini sebagai “predator” dan pengganti Suzuki Blackbird.GSX1300R, yang merupakan generasi pertama seri Hayabusa. Penggantian itu tidak hanya penggantian mesin 1299 cc inline, empat liquid-cooled dengan mesin yang lebih besar, tapi juga dari segi kecepatannya.
Mesin: 1340 cc (82 cu in), empat transmisi, empat silinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 16-valve
Kecepatan maksimal: 248 mph (397 km per jam)
Tenaga: 197 horsepower (147 kW), masing-masing 6750 rpm 147 kW
3. MTT Turbine Superbike Y2K
MTT Y2K merupakan sepeda motor kedua di dunia yang menggunakan tenaga turbin. Mesin ini diciptakan Ted McIntyreit. Kecepatan maksimum yang pernah dicapainya adalah 227 mph. Motor ini dinyatakan sebagai motor paling bertenaga oleh Guinness World Records. Meski begitu, kami menempatkannya pada peringkat ketiga dalam 10 sepeda motor tercepat di Dunia.
Mesin: Rolls Royce 250- C20 Turboshaft
Kecepatan maksimal: 227 mph (365 km per jam)
Tenaga: 320 horsepower (239 kW), masing-masing 52.000 rpm
4. Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird
Motor ini mematahkan dominasi Kawasaki ZX-11. Blackbird memiliki kehalusan yang luar biasa karena memiliki dual counter balancer.

Mesin: 1137 cc liquid cooled inline four-cylinder
Kecepatan maksimal: 190 mph (310km per jam)
Power: 114 kW (153 hp), masing-masing 10.000 rpm
5.Yamaha YZF R1
Yamaha YZF RI bermesin Genesis yang didesain ulang agar selaras pembungkus (crankshaft) Yamaha YZF-R1. Ini adalah sepeda motor yang paling mirip dengan versi balapnya sehingga laris laksana kacang goreng.
Mesin: Inclined Parallel four-cylinder, 20 valves, DOHC, liquid cooled
Kecepatan maksimal: 186 mph (297 km per jam)
Power: 128, 2 horsepower (95.6 kW), masing-masing 10.000 rpm
6. MV Agusta F4 1000 R
Motor ini mulai dipasarkan 2006. Pembaruannya pada model sekarang terletak pada masuknya sistem pengereman Brembo Monobloc. Motor ini menggunakan sokbreker belakang Sachs yang membantu pengendara saat berkendara dengan lambat atau kencang.
Mesin: berpendingin air, inline, four-cylinder, DOHC, 16 radial valves.
Kecepatan maksimal: 185 mph (299 km per jam)
Power: 174 horsepower (128 kW)
7. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-11R
Ada perbedaan mencolok pada pemasaran Kawasaki Ninja ZX 11 R di Amerika Serikat dan di negara lain. Di Amerika Serikat yang paling laris adalah Kawasaki Ninja ZX 11 R, sedangkan di negara lain ZZ-R 11. Padahal, mesinnya sama.

Hal yang membedakan mereka hanyalah fairing. Ninja menggunakan fairing, sedangkan ZZ-R 11 tidak. Apa pun namanya, motor ini menjadi motor yang paling kencang, yang pernah dijual kepada umum, selama 10 tahun lebih.Mesin: 11,352 cc (82.5 cu in)  empat transmisi, four-cylinder, DOHC, berpendingin air.
Kecepatan maksimal: 186 mph (299 km per jam)
Power: 108 kW (147 PS), masing-masing 10.500 rpm

8. Aprilia RSV 1000R Mille
Untuk setiap motor Aprilia, mesinnya dibuat perusahaan Austria Rotax, termasuk Aprilia RSV 04, yang menjadi cikal bakal Aprilia RSV 1000R. Ini adalah produk Aprilia paling terkenal. Aprilia RSV 04 pertama kali dibuat 2004.Mesin: 998 cc 60 degree V-twin mesin
Kecepatan maksimal: 175 mph (281 km per jam)
Power: 105.24 kW (143.09 PS; 141.13 hp), masing-masing 10.000 rpm9. BMW K 1200 S
Ada persaingan antara Aprilia dan BMW. Pada 25 September 2004, BMW secara global meluncurkan K 1200 S yang mengalami perubahan secara radikal. K 1200 S berisi mesin empat silinder, berpendingin cair. Mesin: 16 valves, four-cylinders, DOHC, horizontal in-line, berpendingin air
Kecepatan maksimal: 174 mph (278 km per jam)
Power: 164.94 horsepower (120,4 kW), masing-masing 10.250 rpm
10. Ducati 1098s
Motor ini diproduksi Ducati dengan mesin 1099 cc L-twin. Pertama kali diluncurkan 8 November 2006. Motor ini diklaim memiliki 160, 90 tenaga kuda, dan bobotnya 173 kg. Motor ini berbandingan bobot dan torsi yang serasi. Kalau soal kecepatan, Ducati dengan BMW K 1200 S hanya terpaut 5 km per jam.
Mesin: L-twin cylinder, 4 valves per cylinder Desmodromic, berpendingin cair
Kecepatan maksimal: 169 mph (271 km per jam)
Power: 119,3 kW (160.0 bhp), masing-masing 9.750 rpm.

Traffic is country vehicles (minus hillbilly gear) This is the same as the other 'traffic is country vehicles' cheat, although you don't recieve the hillbilly gear. Funhouse Theme * CJ's appearance changes - a clown nose appears, red hair etc. Pedestrians are replaced with cluckin' bell/well stacked pizza/burger shot workers, and so on. Ice cream vans are seen regularly, and more.. Slut Magnet * Attract sluts with sex toys & get gimp suit. Full Weapon Aiming Whilst Driving * Aim and shoot at passing pedestrians/vehicles, just like your homies would during drive-by shootings. Peds Come After You Pedestrians Riot Pedestrians Carry Weapons Move Fast Jump High CJ can now jump 10 times as high as before. Falling down will deduct from health. Mega Punch * Punches send people flying into the next block. One hit kills. Watch out, peds have it too! Beach Party Pedestrians turn into girls wearing swimsuits. Vehicles are also beach style and CJ will be dressed in shorts and sandals. Weather & Time Orange Sky * Just like those early preview screens they released, like the one where Carl has a giant hand. This cheat locks the clock at 21:00. Speed Up Clock Slow Down Clock Sunny Really Sunny Cloudy Cloudy #2 Foggy Stormy Sandstorm * Always Midnight * Clock stopped at 00:00. Weird sudden weather changes. If you kill yourself, the time stays at 12:00. * Cheats were not officially released by Rockstar Games. They were discovered by edisoncarter from GTA Forums by wiring the PS2 controller up to the PC's parallel port and trying numerous combinations at high speed. Needless to say, this is not recommended for people to try at home, since it also requires special software to make this work. Quests through the source code of the game also reveal various hidden button codes for special cheats, yet the button combinations are up to the point of writing unknown. Perhaps we shall find out the combinations in the future, but for now these cheats can only be triggered with cheat devices. The unknown cheats include (but are not limited to): all cars with nitrous all cars with hydraulics infinite health infinite ammo infinite oxygen never wanted anyone can be recruited to your gang spawn Hunter spawn Dozer all streetlights "strobe" streetlights all cars turn into bikes / countryside cars / sports cars / special vehicles 'mission select' code (known to have been used in beta stages, possibly removed) The rest of the cheat codes and more were finally found 6 months after release not through the brute force method, but by interpreting the hash values created by different combinations of button presses, and then comparing the resulting hashes with hashes for cheat codes programmed into the game. Due to the way the game's cheat codes are programmed (32-bit), it was discovered that every cheat had a huge number of different button combinations that triggered it. So far the list of codes ending with L1 has been extracted, and the estimated number of working combinations is over 200,000. Search News
